The Ordinariate in Stornoway

Fr Stanley Bennie is a retired Ordinariate priest living in Stornoway
on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebredies.

Before being received into the Catholic Church he served as Rector
of St Peter's Scottish Episcopal Church in Stornoway.
He has ordained as a Catholic priest in St Columba's Cathedral, Oban,
in the RC Diocese of Argyll and the Isles in 2012.

He has a small Oratory in St Lennan's, his home in Scotland Street,
close to the centre of Stornoway where he says Mass
according to the Ordinariate Use.

He also attends the Church of Our Holy Redeemer, also in
Scotland Street, where he and the Ordinariate have been made
most welcome.

There is, as yet, no Ordinariate Group in Stornoway.
