The Caldey Conversion

The formation Ordinariate in 2011 was not the first time a large group of
Anglicans were received into the full communion of the Catholic Church.
It happened 98 years earlier with a community of monks, of which the monks
at Pluscarden Abbey near Elgin are their successors. On 5th March 1913 the
Caldey Island monks were received. The dramatic story of why and how it
came about is unfolded in the words of those who were directly involved.

Pluscarden Abbey: £8.04
